The above picture says it all for the Obama administration and its handling of the Dalai Lama shown out of the White House by a back door by the garbage. But hey, what do you need more…China’s financial backing or the prestige of a religious leader by showing him the respect that should be accorded to him.
The current administration still does not understand that you cannot play both sides of the street but rather you make a stand in whatever direction and then live by it.
The humility of this man to be degraded by being shown the back door and the garbage only enhances his stature while diminishing the stature of President Obama and our country as a whole.
The end result is that HH will not be put off by this treatment, though I have to say I am. They're soooo afraid of offending China. Well you know what? China does plenty of offensive things to freedom-loving humans. And you don't see them bending over backward to disrespect someone so clearly above them ethically.
ReplyDeleteWhen a country lights up one of their most known and prestigious buildings, the Empire State Building, in the colors of communist China then I can see why they would treat this man in this manner. Money talks unfortunately but the Dalai Lama speaks volumes with his smile and peaceful demeanor.
